Iconic Austrian franchise to launch on Kixi Entertainment

Kixi Entertainment is proud to present "Tom Turbo - from 0 to 111", the cinema movie based on the iconic Austrian children's franchise "Tom Turbo".

The movie is the prequel to the live-action series "Tom Turbo", which has been a landmark in children's television for 30 years. The television series is based on the children's books of the same name by best-selling author, television presenter and television producer Thomas Brezina.

The twins Karo and Klaro live with their single dad, who runs a bicycle workshop. One day, they meet writer Thoms Brezina in his secret office and make friends with him, Together they develop the idea of a bicycle that can speak and solves criminal cases. Shortly after, the twins get their hands on a ball that contains super powers, allowing them to create such super bike for real. Tom Turbo, the bicycle with 111 tricks is born. But a gang of notorious criminals is after the ball and so Karo, Klaro, Tom and Thomas soon have their first case to solve.

"Thomas Brezina has an unique understanding of what children like and what resonates best with both, their daily live and their imagination. Tom Turbo's basic idea is that a bicycle is the first vehicle in a child's life that allows them to discover the world on their own. That's why children usually have a special emotional relationship with their bike and project their fantasies and wishes onto it. Hence, Tom Turbo enjoys an enormous popularity since its launch in 1993.", explains Sascha Stradtmann, Direcotr Commercial Operations and Authorized Representative at Kixi Entertainment.

The movie can be streamed on all of Kixi Entertainment's platforms including Deutsche Telekom's MagentaTV, Roku Inc., VIDAA and NetRange MMH GmbH powered SmartTV, the Amazon Prime Video Channel "Kixi Select", AppleTV and Kixi's own streaming website and its adjoined Apps for iOS and Android devices.
